Gondola End Display — Endcap Branding for Supermarkets and Hypermarkets

A gondola end display, also known as endcap branding, is one of the most visible POS formats in retail spaces. Endcaps in supermarkets, hypermarkets and discount stores are located in high-traffic areas, making them highly effective for increasing product visibility and strengthening brand communication. A well-designed gondola end display helps highlight promotions without taking up additional aisle space.

Materials and Printing

We produce gondola end displays from corrugated cardboard, carton board, PVC or HIPS — selecting the material according to the retail chain requirements, display duration and campaign type. For cardboard-based projects, FSC®-certified materials are available on request, helping meet the ESG requirements of retail chains and brand purchasing policies. We print using UV digital technology with Greenguard-certified inks.

Construction and Installation

We design gondola end displays as universal structures that can be adapted to different types of retail shelving. This allows one display solution to be used flexibly across various store formats and retail chains. Depending on the project, the structure may include an adjustable or extendable topper, side panels and additional branding surfaces that increase communication visibility within the aisle.

The installation system is tailored to the technical conditions of the specific store. Side elements can be mounted using angle brackets, magnetic tape or cable ties, depending on the shelf type and retail chain requirements. The structure is prepared for quick installation and easy adaptation on site.

Gondola end display branding works especially well in supermarkets, hypermarkets and discount stores — wherever retail chains make endcaps available as part of promotional agreements. This format is often chosen for seasonal campaigns such as Easter, summer and XMAS, as well as for product launches and FMCG promotions where maximum brand visibility in high-traffic areas is essential.

A gondola end display can also be part of a larger in-store branding system. Combined with POS hangers, promotional arches and security gate covers, it creates consistent brand communication throughout the entire retail space.
